Here is an unopened package from the Scott Foresman & Co. of Chicago. The produced the Dick & Jane Readers from the 1940s thru the 1960s. This is a tryout Phonics Kit for the New Basic Readers. 1963. The kit was for trying out some key exercises from the first grade word perception program. They are picture, word, and letter cards with suggestions for using them to develop phonetical and structural analysis skills and understanding about language. 7” x 8” in original clear plastic wrapper. Looks like about 10 pieces with instructions.
