The cards from this set were issued in Germany and are very similar to the Dutch Gum Cards issued in Sweden in the early 1950's.  The easiest way to tell the two sets apart is by the serif, which is the line on the bottom of the "A" on the front of the card. The German version does not have the line.  These are hard to find in any condition and almost impossible to find in the United States.  Compared to sportscards from the same era,  the movie star cards issued in Europe are much more rare and have a lot of potential.  I think they could be a great investment.  See scan for centering and details.
