The Yamaha YAS62 Alto Saxophone pen and ink drawing was originally created using Windsor and Newton drawing inks using a dip pen. Colour washes were then added with a brush once the initial Saxophone line drawing was completed. The ink is water resistant, transparent and allows the overlaying of different colours, giving superior strength and brilliance of colour when colour mixing, which give the drawings a free flowing quality.

The Saxophone drawing was then digitised, and is reproduced on 260 g/m² velvet fine art paper using the giclee printing method which produces a high-quality, long lasting and durable fine art print. Velvet fine art paper is a 100% cotton fibre paper featuring an acid free base to preserve prints, has a radiant white surface for vivid colour reproduction and has a velvet surface for rich details and has an exceptional finish. Velvet fine paper art print sizes are, with mount 500mm X 700mm and 400mm X 500mm, and are ready to fit an off the shelf frame.

Prints come with a card backing in a cellophane sleeve.

Each print is edition-ed, signed, and limited to a print run of 95.
