Depicts Russell Mockridge born at South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He won Gold Medals in bicycle racing at the British Empire Summer Games at Auckland, New Zealand in 1950. Mockridge also won Gold at the Helsinki Olympics of 1952. Known as the 'Geeling Flyer' and 'Rocket Man', Mockridge was killed, age 30, near the start of a road race in 1958.
