Quarter-bound,  black leather with brown cloth boards and gold lettering; Plain endpapers;  Inscribed:  " To Alexander W. Johns - from his affectionate Uncle Alex. Williamson Jan 1841";  215 pages.

CONDITION:

Book is in Good Condition with rubbing and moisture stains to the covers without the attendant odor;  Binding gutters are torn yet binding is solid and square;  Four line inscription in black fountain pen ink on the ffep;  Clear moisture staining to ALL pages throughout;  Rfep is torn in half, yet present;  The last half dozen pages are showing mold spots that must be attended to.
