Elizabeth Irving.  With their bold designs and brilliant colors, the classic art posters lend themselves to needlepoint design.  Irvine has taken the great posters of such artists as Mucha, Will Bradley and The Beggarstaffs and charted them for needlepoint, counted cross-stitch and latch-hooking.  If you haven't done needlework for a while and cannot remember certain stitches, examples and instructions are given at the beginning of book.  These designs make stunning pillows, totes, wall hangings, vests, jackets and countless other items.  Yarn and canvas requirements, as well as suggested color schemes, are given for each design.  Published in 1978 by Dover; 49 pages.  All 22 posters appear in color on covers.  Minor age discoloration; all pages intact.  No marks or writing - overall very good vintage condition.
