Definitions of DSR
Item as Described Reasonable description, it does not have to be heavily detailed but more information the better, if you want to know something else about the item always ask questions via eBay email. Questions should always be asked then you won't be disappointed in your purchase. This also helps to build a rapport with your seller.
Communication Contact your seller if only to ask a quick question or just to let your seller know you are interested in other items. A good seller will always answer your email and if through eBay inbox your email will always be logged in there (saying never received is not an option).
Dispatch time This is the time from when you item was paid for through to being posted depending on your seller dispatch times. If dispatch times are within 1 day then you should give that seller 24hours to post your item (Sellers normally have other or family commitments as well). Dispatch times are not how long it takes the item to get to you. Time & date is usually printed on the postage label. I.e., if you paid for the item 11/05/2010 & the label states 12/05/2010 and you get it 7 days later you know that is Royal Mail & not your seller at fault. If your item was paid for on 11/05/2010 and posted on the 17/05/2010, then your seller is at fault again depending on their dispatch times.
Postage & Packaging Amount charged for postage and packaging against what was actually paid. Please take into consideration what packaging could cost, if you think it is too high challenge the seller before or after the sale. Some sellers charge a handling fee, this should be noted in the listing.
All of these should be considered before leaving negative feedback, always communicate with your seller. Before leaving feedback most sellers want to help resolve matters as it is their reputation at stake, negative feedback takes a year to expire, please try and resolve issues amicably. It is the same as shopping in town, if you're not happy you would return your item, the only difference is high street shops do not have a feedback system.
