DVD:  The Massey Ferguson Archive Series Volume Eighteen-----"SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST"

This exciting series of programmes digs deep into Massey Ferguson’s film archive, brining to the screen rare and original films depicting machines from the 1930’s right up to the present day.  The series builds into a unique record of the impact Massey Ferguson and its predecessors made to agriculture the world over.

Throughout their histories the Massey-Harris & Ferguson companies had strived to pioneer innovative farming machinery and equipment, in this volume we look back at their contributions to the evolution of both the tractor & combine harvester. We begin with a fascinating look at the Prototype 4700 a rare treat not to be missed. Then to the evolution of the combine culminating in the Mighty 760 Harvester, also a look at 200 Series tractors including the advancements made since the original Ferguson System. The 1114 & 1134 are given the seal of approval followed by MF’s plans for adapting to the changing agricultural environment of the late 70’s, a hostile time when only the fittest would survive.

Whatever your specific interest, you will be certain to find something fascinating in this unique series as we move from vintage machines, through the classic era and then to the sophisticated machines of today.
