This Pre-Cleaner is designed to extend your vehicle's engine filter life in dusty environments. By inhaling air high above road dust then forcing it into a high speed cyclonic motion in which any dust and water are pushed to the outside of the Pre-Cleaner's bowl where it is captured. The remaining clean air is then drawn down the neck of the snorkel body and over to the engines air filter. With this Pre-Cleaner your air filter's life will increase due to the increase in clean air.
