entry into the "Science Fiction Hall of Fame" in 1993. In another sci-fi classic,
The War of the Worlds (1953), Cornthwaite played Dr. Pryer.

Born: 1917, St. Helens, Oregon; died: 2006, Woodland Hills, California.
