Suzuki Gt750 cylinder head bolt sealing washers.

Suzuki changed their cylinder head bolt washers back in the 1970's to a sealing type washer.

This was due to the flat nature of the cylinder cap and if the bike was stored/left outside in the rain for a very long period of time, rain water could seep passed the original washers causing corrosion to the cylinder studs making barrel removal very difficult.

These days people don't tend to leave their very expensive restored GT750's out in the rain anymore , but if you're re building your engine and ever feel the urge to leave your bike out in the rain for the next 20 or so years , then these are the washers for you.
