ZinAmp SCA Power Amplifier. Dedicated power amp featuring ZinAmp's Simultaneous Class-A Amplifier.

A Class A sound with class B power is acheived using the principle of current-dumping. This was first employed in the Quad 405 and is re-engineered here wiith some siginificant improvments.

With a volume control and 3-position selector switch it can be driven directly from line souces or with your existing pre-amp, although you may wish to pair this with one of ours!

The SCA amplifier comprises a Class A stage that drives the speaker output whilst controlling additional current dispensed from a more powerful class B amplifier. Power is 120W PC. This is a similar concept to the Quad 405 current dumping amplifier from the 1970s, but with some noteable improvements.

- Higher Class A power - no discernable crossover-distortion - a true Class A experience

- Better performance driving 4ohm loads

- Lower THD - approx 0.008% - mostly lower 2nd order - i.e. non-fatiguing and pleasant to listen to
