A very fine and delicate thinly potted Whieldon type tortoiseshell glazed covered small jar.
Resting on tripod paw feet.
Beautiful drip glazing inside and outside in colors of brown, blue and green on a biscuit colored background.
With molded floral decoration around the body and a fine delicate flower finial on the lid.
Dating to the early 19th century. English? Chinese?
Condition is very good, with a small chip to one paw, and a rim repair on lid. Neither are noticeable.
The piece measures 4.5" wide & 3." to top of finial.
