During even the heaviest German bombing of Britain in 1940 and 1941 Churchill became a welcome and heartening visitor to many bomb-shattered cities and towns the length and breadth of the island nation. Here he is stepping out with his “tin bowler” (steel helmet) on and his gasmask haversack over one shoulder...the famous cigar in his mouth. It is 1:30 scale and beautifully detailed. If standing upright the
