This is such a lovely vintage pattern for a superb one piece swimsuit with back zip fastening, with gorgeous detail at the midriff. The instructions cover three sizes (see below) with the swimsuit being originally created in either Twilley's Stalite, Crysette or Aquarius thread. Sadly though all are now discontinued but can still be found occasionally on ebay. However, a modern alternative to Stalite is Petra Crochet Cotton Perle No.3 and of course your local yarn and thread stockist will also be able to advise on a suitable modern alternatives, but do work a tension square first before embarking on your project to see if a change of hook is necessary to obtain the tension stipulated in the pattern. 

Measurements & Requirements To Complete Your Project Taken From Original Pattern:

MATERIALS:

Stalite, Crysette or Aquarius thread (see above regards thread) 

3.50 hook, 3.00 hook

12 inch zip

MEASUREMENTS (both bikinis):

Bust: 34 [36] [38] ins. 

TENSION:

Five 2 tr.grs. to 2 inches and 3 rows to 1 inch on 3.50 hook  

This pattern will arrive safe in it's own plastic pocket ready for you to file.
