I can personalize a child's name and birth date on a square piece of fabric and sew it to the back of the quilt. I like to sew my quilts large so children can use it for years to come. Size of this quilt is 45"H X 37"W. I like the colors of orange and white polka dots with blue. It has polyester batting inside which keeps you warm. It can be machine washed in warm water but don't use the dryer.
The small pillow in the last picture can be placed on the boy's bed and the matching wall hanging will add a special touch to his room. This set would make a wonderful birthday or Christmas gift for a special boy.
I kept track of how much time I spent sewing this quilt daily and I sewed 4 to 5 hours per day. It took me 13 days to complete this quilt. I like to pay myself 20.00/hour but nobody is going to pay a large amount of money. This is the reason I charge the price you see. Please remember that it takes time to sew a beautiful quilt like this and you'll have it for the rest of your life.
