Here on offer is a stunning vintage Japanese Showa teapot, sugar bowl & creamer, 1940s.

These elegant pieces have a white porcelain body, they are beautifully painted with Geishas walking through a landscape, completed in soft colour tones. Each is a little different as they were individually painted. There is some minor wear, the creamer lid has a chip.

There are no maker marks. They were made in post war occupied Japan during the Showa period in Nagoya for the GI trade for export as souvenirs between 1945 and 1952.

The teapot measures about 18cm tall by 18cm at the widest point.

The set is offered in good vintage condition.

A wonderful usable collectable that displays well.

Please see my pictures for the details of the condition.
