Here's a 3-5/16" long ring top pen (ring at top is missing)  in black hard rubber. This pen is longer than most of the miniature pens I've had, but its very slender diameter, which for me puts it in that category. There is a gold filled cap band and a gf crown at the top of the cap which has a hole through which the ring assembly would have been threaded. I thought I found a couple of letters on the barrel, but it's possible the imprint may not have existed. It doesn't look worn enough to be worn away. There are no flaws to the rubber beyond routine wear. The pen is eyedropper filled and the section screws right off for access, with good solid threading giving a good compartmental seal. The feed is fine, but the tiny section looks like it has tools marks all around. No other harm. The nib is tiny and marked 14KT with the KT underlined.  It is probably a medium point. This nib is wavy with a downward bend then up near the tip., but the tines are aligned and straight with good iridium. I'm sure in the right hands the nib could be smoothed. However at the base of the breather there is about a 1/32"  crack in the gold running south. It seems not to have any affect in the minimal flexibility.
