DESCRIPTION: A fine Chinese Qing dynasty famille rose bulb shaped vase in the classic famille rose enamels color palette.
Featuring hand gilded gold decoration on one side which was known as " clobbered or clobbering".
This was the application of gold to the porcelain which was then refired.
It was usually decorated in Europe after the porcelain was imported from China.
Examples dating to the Qianlong period 1750s to the 1780s and also as Canton C. 1860s.

CONDITION: The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, lines or repairs.
The vase does have gold wear.

MEASUREMENTS: 7" high and 3.25" diameter.
