The last modification to famed Parker Sonnet line was introduced with four new patterns, two of which (info from PARKERPENS) were called GOLD and SILVER LUSTRE.  These are chiseled patterns, similar to the PERLE pattern except the tight lining is ornameted with tear-like forms cut into the longitudinal lining rather than pearls. Other differences also exist with the thinner cap banding which on this pen  is marked (LOGO), PARKER, FRANCE.  This pen has the cross hatched 18K medium nib, perfect, and slightly flexible and the standard (for the time) converter filler. The design on this nib varies from most of these crossed hatched nibs, in that it has an arrow in an oval with the tip pointing to the breather.  This previously owned  mint condition pen apparently was dipped, but not subsequently used.  Comes in a hard case Parker box, possibly not original.
