Available is this 200 page hardcover with unclipped dust jacket ($12.50) titled "Colonization on the Little Colorado - The Joseph City Region" by George S. Tanner and J. Morris Richards and published in 1977 by Northland Press of Flagstaff Arizona as a stated first edition and this copy has the scarce autograph of Tanner. In 1876 Brigham Young sent 200 Mormon families to northern Arizona to establish four colonies on the Little Colorado River. Only one of these settlements, Joseph City, has survived. This is the history of the founding of this city.
