What you are viewing is an original scarce Antique 1890’s - 1910’s J.B. Colt Carbide Acetylene Camp Stove And Reading Lamp.  Piece is in great shape for its age with some aging and wear to contend with, a possibly missing lamp shade, some warping to the wood box walls, and naturally will require new rubber tubing, but displays wonderfully for its age, and looks mostly complete other then what I mentioned above. Box measures 17” X 15” X 10”, and will have a balloon charge during shipping due to size and weight. Lamp is 11 1/2” tall with the original mantles, and camp stove cooking surface is about 5 1/2” in circumference, and is about 10 1/2” long from end of base to end of valve. The Tank measures 9 1/2” X 8 1/2” X 15 1/2”, and comes with the original valve. This is the only one of its kind that I have ever seen, and was very difficult to even find a shred of evidence of its existence.
