For sale is a Seiko model 5J22-0B69 Kinetic Auto Relay men's watch. The watch is 38mm wide (not including the crown), the crystal itself has a diameter of about 28mm. This watch features a date indicator, an automatic kinetic movement, and is marked as water resistant (actually meter depth not specified on watch). The watch is pre-owned and has a considerable amount of wear, but no structural damage. Piece by piece analysis of the condition is below:
Performance: Appears to work fine. Features a kinetic movement, which is similar to a automatic movement. It starts ticking away when shaken and the rotor sounds as though is spins fine and freely. Kinetic watches often take a considerable amount of "charging" before operating properly. If the second hand has a delayed double-tick don't be concerned that just means the watch is low on power. There's always a chance pre-owned kinetic watches may need a new capacitor but it's not something I have the means of testing for.
Case condition: Good. There's a layer of surface scuff/scratches but nothing deep. No dings, dents, chips, or structural damage. Case could do with a polish/some buffing.
Crystal condition: Passable. It's still easy to see through and clear, though has a considerable amount of surface scratches and a few small chips. No cracks. Would recommend replacing but will do it's job fine if not.
Dial condition: Perfect. Doesn't appear as though any particulates have ever made it past the case or crystal, keeping the dial as sleek and beautiful as the day it was manufactured.
Band condition: Good. Like the case, could do with a good polishing/buffing to get those surface scratches out, but has no structural damage. For link/fitted bands, always assume the watch will will need extensions/removed links to properly fit your wrist size. No extra links are provided with this watch.
A majority of my watches are received pre-owned and often come to me with some dirt and grime on them, I always clean them up and sterilize them with isopropyl alcohol to the best of my abilities. I do not take them apart and deep clean the individual parts, so there could still be dust and grime in various hard-to-access parts of the watch (such as between links of the band or deep grooves).
