Description:     A very good, German language book throughout - see details.   Internally:  Complete and intact with 781 clean pages including index. A good, strong binding. It is clean throughout with no writing, markings etc, clean white end papers and secure hinges.   Externally:  Strong, beige cloth boards with clear titling to the front and spine (see scan). A good edition of this vintage account by Eckermann taken from his associaion with Goethe and should interest enthusiasts, students/teachers etc - I have many other vintage books - check out my shop.

Johann Peter Eckermann (1792 – 1854), German poet and author, is best known for his work Conversations with Goethe, (above) the fruit of his association with the German Poet during the last years of Goethe's life.
