I have 10 Pretty Round Wild Horse Picture Jasper Gemstone beads.  The beads are 10 mm in size.

In the early 1970’s prospectors discovered a vein of Jasper on a ridge on the south side of a large canyon west of Three Fingers Butte in eastern Oregon.  Three fingers Butte is a prominent land mark in the remote area in Oregon near the Idaho/Oregon border.  It can be seen from over 50 miles away in almost any direction.  The Jasper found on the ridge had patterns that mimic the vast high desert vistas of the area where it was found.  The largest deposit was found in the centre of the canyon and called Wild horse Picture Jasper.  It was called Wild horse after the herd of wild horses that still inhabit and roam this remote canyon.  It comes in shades of tan, reddish browns, and greenish-gray.
