WWII AIR RAID PRECAUTIONS BOOKLET

July 1940

  It includes instructions on what to do ‘If Incendiary Bombs come’, ‘If Gas comes’, a rundown of different gases and their effects as well as suggestions on decontamination and the care of respirators. 

It is dated on the front bottom right "July 1940" and is produced by British Timken Ltd as shown in the last photograph which is not part of this booklet but a photograph of a similar booklet in:

CONDITION - In very poor original used condition and showing wear consistent with age and use.

It has been extensively used and has some ink splotches on the front cover, the word GAS has been added, however it is complete and not torn except for the very frayed edges.

Possibly this booklet saved a life or two!!
