• the musical mechanism needs replacing
• originally winding the ballerina
• then releasing her she would twirl to music
• the non functioning mechanism is in place on the bottom
• you will need to order a like mechanism online
• I have not searched for one and do not know how available they are
• the ceramic is in fine condition with no chips, cracks, nor other blemishes
• the finish is bright and very fine
• some of the paint finish of the dress is missing
• should you just want to display it  ~~ is fine as is
