The Great 8 electronics mod is one of our most demanded mods. With this mod we double the sonic spectrum of our two-humbucker instruments. You still have the full powered tone of each humbucker and the traditional settings to give you neck, bridge or both. With Great 8 we add two push-pull switches to the tone knobs, so that when pulled up one coil of the humbucker is disengaged giving you a cleaner single coil tone. You can control each pickup separately, maximizing your options. What can you do with 8 sonic options?

Plug in, turn up and take in the tone! The Patriot Decree OP is built with sound as a priority. It starts with its carefully crafted set-neck construction and upgraded PAF-Plus pickups. The Decree OP’s unique open pore texture and satin finish will catch your eye, but is still all about the tone. This extra-thin finish means that there is nothing holding back its sustain and bold tone. With one strum, you will feel this focus on tone as well as hearing it.

The Patriot Decree OP has a mahogany body and neck, with a top made of Sungkai, an amazing tone wood hand-selected by Michael Kelly for this instrument. The Decree OP has Michael Kelly’s tone-expanding Great 8 Mod, giving you 8 distinctive sonic settings to assure that you can dial-in exactly that right tone for your playing situation.
