A very nice 1930s silver pair of cafe au lait pots, with plain straight sided tapered walls with stepped collet foot. Domed covers with matching stepped decoration. Carved wooden handle and beads to the knops. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1938, maker Walker & Hall and further marked with the Walker & Hall retailer marks to the base.
They measure 21.5cm (8 1/2") high and 8.5cm (3 3/8") wide across the base. They weigh 721g / 23.2ozt.
Condition is very good; each has a very small dent to the lid and a couple of pinprick dints to body. The hinges have a very fractional bounce to them. Handles and knops are firm, light and appropriate handling wear and the insides are nice and clean ready for use.
