The wine-sugar meter is designed to measure the alcohol and sugar content of wine, beer, mash.This device greatly simplifies the preparation of mash and wine at home, since with it you can easily determine the end of fermentation, by measuring the sugar content in the wort.

It has 2 scales. From 0 to 25% for the determination of sugar and from 0 to 12 (18)% for the determination of strength.

Often, a sucrose meter is used to measure the concentration of sugar in sugar-containing liquids by dry weight with a measurement range from 0% to 25%.

-Alcohol (a multi-colored scale with red numbers) shows the amount of alcohol   in the finished wine.
-Sugar (a multi-colored scale with black numbers) shows the percentage of sugar in the drink.

- Recommended temperature for measurements in liquid of 20 + - 2° С.
- Measuring range: 0% -25% sugar, 0% -12 (18)% vol. alcohol.

A hydrometer is a glass tube , extended lower part of which is filled with ballast - a clean, dry metal shot.On the top ( narrow ) part of the hydrometer marked scale , graded in terms of density or percentage , depending on the purpose of the hydrometer . The smaller the density of the liquid , the deeper it sinks into the hydrometer , so the upper division of the scale corresponds to the smallest , and the lower - the highest density.

 A few simple measurement rules:

1. Remove the hydrometer from the package;
2. Immerse the wine-sugar meter in the container with the drink. The device must not touch the walls of the test jar .Wait for the to stabilize, it should remain at the same level.
4. Determine the measurement result.
5. Wipe and put it in the original packaging in which it was stored before.

The hydrometer is blown glass and fragile so be careful not to let it bounce off the bottom or sides.
Do not expose the wine-sugar meter to mechanical damage,
Do not use the hydrometer if the integrity of the flask is broken
