ww2 RAF flying helmet external wiring loom. Nice used loom as fitted to the earlier C-type helmets and oxygen masks such as the type E, E* and type G. This example is a nice used example, fitted with earphones, jackmplug and type-25 microphone. Unfortunately the earphones are missing their screw on covers but are otherwise in good used condition. The microphone again shows use and wear with some paint loss and chips to the bakelite grill piece. Otherwise the switch works and it does display well. The loom itself is in good condition, does have some fading to the material and some fraying but overall a nice loom. Again fitted with a good condition hack plug. A hard piece to find now getting rarer and increasing in price constantly. Would be ideal for completing an early C-type flying helmet display.
