This is an outstanding value casting kit complete with a gorgeous, handmade in the UK, black high gloss plinth!
This baby casting kit enables you to make beautiful lifelike casts of your baby's hands/feet, paint them and proudly display them on a fabulous, well-made plinth for everyone to see!
All of our kits contain enough materials for you to create around 6 casts for a newborn and 2-3 casts for a toddler (age 3).
(Please note that there's plenty of kits around that contain much less alginate and special casting plaster, so few casts can be taken. Please be aware of this if you choose to purchase elsewhere!)

As mothers ourselves, we are only too aware of how quickly babies soon grow and it's hard to imagine just how small they once were. By taking casts, you will always have a memento/keepsake of that special time.
The casting kit itself contains plenty of dental, high grade colour change (chromatic) alginate impression powder - which is totally safe for use on your baby as the alginate's main ingredient is seaweed! (Dentists use this exact same alginate in their patient's mouths, it conforms to British safety standards BS 4269 Pt.:1991 & ISO 1563:1990). There's 500g pack per kit, which is nearly double than some other kits available on eBay - this 500g amount will make approx. 6+ casts for a newborn baby and 2-3 casts for a toddler (age 3). Plus there's 800g of casting plaster - again, double than what some other kits are offering.
