We use this dehooker for ensuring the quick, safe and efficient release of larger sharks. The dehooker is most suitable for larger hooks from around 8/0 to 20/0 plus! At around 1m long the dehooker enables you to keep a safe distance from the toothey bits! The 250mm long T Bar handle allows you to get a good grip and plenty of twisting power to quickly and safely desengage the hook.
To use the dehooker, simply engage the hook as shown in the photos and use a firm 180 degree twist of the handle and the hook will will be removed. HINT: hold the trace of the hook tight, or get your mate to hold the line tight when you twist and the hook will pop out even easier.
