Vintage Remington Arms Co. Hand Trap Clay Target Pigeon Skeet/Pigeon Thrower. From end to end it measures about 18 inches. I have tried to show a close-up of the information stamped on the metal portion of the thrower. The handle does show some wear, but no splits or nicks to the wood. The metal portion says the following:REMINGTON
AUTOMATIC HAND TRAP
REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC.
MADE IN THE U.S.A. PAT. NO. 2,122,984
After a quick research, the patent was originally given in 1938, but I think the company was still making them in the 1960's and 1970's. I think it's important to note that this one is marked Remington Arms Company, not just Remington. Please be sure to look at the pictures for more details.
