ITEM DESCRIPTION: Reprint of the Department of Commerce user and service manual Regulated Output Amplifier Type CA-1581. This tube limiter was a military design and was manufactured throughout the 1950s by numerous factories to government specification, including Tri-Tronics, Hazeltine, Maxson (Langevin), Columbus etc. All of these factories made limiters that were the same design, essentially identical with minor differences in construction. Includes general description and features, specifications, theory of operation, description of circuits, adjustment, signal connection details, maintenance, trouble shooting procedures, voltage measurements, tube layout, parts list and large schematic. 36 pages.
