3) 3 Cotton balls - Dry cotton will ignite very easily and will give you that start to a nice warm fire.
4) Mini Roll of Duct tape - Great for sealing wounds, mending tents, shoes, sleeping bags or anything else you can think of.
5) Compass - Because you want to travel in one direction and not in circles.
6) 2 inch mirror - Use the sun to reflect light at a person or aircraft, you can get their attention to bring you to safety.
7) 20 feet of fishing line and 2 hooks - If you find yourself out of food and near a water source, you'll be glad that you can attempt to catch a fish to nourish yourself.
8) 10 ft. of paracord - This is helpful to hang food from a tree, repair your backpack or a broken shoelace, make a tourniquet for excessive bleeding or a splint for broken bones.
9) Emergency blanket - Provides insulation and protection from inclement weather.
