This was the first Canon with “X” sync for electronic flash and it was the first model to be widely accepted outside of Japan. This camera is actually a Model IV S with the addition of the “X” sync and a lock on the slow speed dial to keep it firmly at 1/25th when the slow speeds were not being used. Made from 1952-55. Total made 34975.

Shutter is sluggish. Curtain is intact with a crease in one of the curtains. Dent  on Top plate Left side. Viewfinder is clear with lite haze.
