PASSENGER TRAIN ANNUAL made its debut in 1975 when PASSENGER TRAIN JOURNAL magazine was being published by PTJ Publishing Inc.; four annuals were put out by that company. Interurban Press, which acquired PASSENGER TRAIN JOURNAL in 1987, reinstated the tradition of PASSENGER TRAIN ANNUAL that same year, and the annual which you are now holding is the third in the reinstated series.
