Most of the film cameras we sell date back to the 70s and 80s. As lots of things can go wrong with a mechanical camera that is typically 30-40 years ago, we take our time to check and restore all the functions.  Some of the typical tasks are:

• clean the camera body and make any necessary cosmetic repair/replacement
• check the shutter and meter to make sure they work
• check the self timer, if one is available
• change the seals and mirror damper
• lubricate all moving parts if necessary
• check the aperture follower for smooth operations
• check the preview function
• check for squeals and repair

We do our best to make sure our customers receive a fully functional and cosmetically good looking camera.  In the unlikely event something is wrong, please just contact us so we will make things right for you.

Attached images are representative of the model but not necessary of the camera you are buying.  Pentax made several versions of the 50mm f/1.4 lenses.  We always ship on a first available basis so the lens you receive may not be the exact same model as the one in the listing pictures.   If you have a particular preference, please add a Message to Seller upon checkout, but before you pay, of the lens choice you prefer.  We will comply if we have it in stock.  Otherwise, it will be first available.
