We purchase the parts unpainted, directly from FORD. All parts are painted in a state of the art Paint Booth. Parts will be delivered to you in a SEALED, FORD PARTS BAG. Proof you are purchasing the REAL DEAL FORD product.
First: We prep the part by cleaning and sanding in preperation of being primer sealed. Primer sealer fills in the sand marks and acts as an adhesion coating guaranteeing the basecoat/clearcoat will not flake from the plastic part.
Second: Depending on the color of the part, we will use a colored waterborne flexible primer sealer that closely matches the color of your car.
Third: After the primer sealer has dried, we then apply basecoat and clearcoat that perfectly matches your vehicle. Our color matching ability is very good since all we do is paint Ford products.

There are replicas or counterfeit products being sold from China of this product. The part is NOT molded correctly and is slightly different in overall design. Because of this, the part does not align properly, nor does it "click" and lock in like the OEM Ford part does, it jiggles loosely on the vehicle. Overtime as you drive it vibrates itself loose from the wind resistance and falls off. Or if you go through a car wash, it will get ripped off instantly. You then you have no part to return and THEY WIN, you are out the $30 they are selling for. You then have to purchase AGAIN or from US. They are sneaky and have 100's of different's of seller accounts to spam listings and hide negative feedbacks. Everyday we get people warning us they wish they would have just purchased from us first.

We order the part directly from Ford for roughly $15.95 unpainted. The pricing changes constantly due to supply chain demands at Ford. Each part takes roughly 1 hour to paint from A to Z. Standard bodyshop rate in USA is $75 dollars an hour NOT INCLUDING materials cost. We then also have eBay fee's.
If you were to purchase the part unpainted and bring to ANY bodyshop they are going to charge you roughly $85 to $150 depending on the color to paint this part. It takes just as long to paint a small part as it does a larger part. The setup time, and paint times in the spray booth are the same.
We sell these parts directly to Ford Dealers and service shops who upsell for around $150. By purchasing from us you are getting them at 50% discount. This is why we sell so many!
We do our best to stock as many colors as we can, however due to the demand sometimes we run out. Because of this we give ourselves 5 business days to have the part shipped incase we need to paint to order.
