This Paternost rig is one of the most popular and successful designs on the market. Years of trying different lengths of paternosta, different size hooks, different surf conditions, different positioning of the paternostas along the main rig line etc.......have resulted in the rig we offer you today. The twisted 40lb mono leader makes this rig super resilient to abrasion and wear, great for beach, rock and boat fishing. The1/0 hooks give you a great chance of catching more than just Brim (the fish in the photos were caught on this exact rig), this rig has proved very successful with Tailor, Jewfish (Mulloway) Trevally, Smaller Sharks and many more of the larger predators
Our Brim rig is longer than most patenosta rigs at approx 900mm long, (we have found the longer 900mm rigs to be more successful over the years) The paternosta design allows the baits to move freely and naturally in the current. The proven positioning of the paternostas on the main rig line places the baits in the ideal location for both bottom feeders and other fishes cruising the surf.

Our paternostas are NOT manufactured by machines, They're hand tied nature makes it easy for you to change the hooks/size by simply unlooping them and swapping them for larger/smaller hooks if you prefer larger baits/hooks.

This paternosta rig is REVERSIBLE, the staggered arrangement of the paternostas and the snap clips on BOTH ends of the rig allows you to put the weight on either end, this means that if you are snagging on weeds or the bottom, you can raise the bottom hook further off the bottom by simply reversing the rig, great to avoid the snags! and great when you are rock rishing.
