This is a vintage 1940's-ish Walt Disney Designed Sportsman Plaque--the baseball one of the series featuring Donald Duck getting ready to take a swing. His little prayer is featured below him. It measures about 6" x 6" and is a tile with multiple colors of silk screen painting. Manufactured by the Kemper-Thomas Company of Cincinnati Ohio. It is in very good to excellent condition, no chips or cracks, no repairs, tile is shiny and clean and the graphics/paint are as good as if not better than others I have seen. The paper back is also intact and quite clean. There is a pull-out tab with a hole in back for hanging, but I would not trust paper for hanging this wonderful item. It originally had a cardboard thermometer, but that is missing, as it is on many. The value of this piece is more in the great Disney graphics and Walt Disney "signature" painted on.
