The set prevents valve float under high boost pressures due to springs greater stiffness compared to the OEM springs  ( +45% ) 
M57 has really weak springs from factory. This causes these engines to stop power production with higher boost pressures , issue gets worse with more boost and exhaust manifold pressure.
 If the valve springs are weak, the springs may not be able to push the valves all the way shut before the next opening cycle begins. If the valves fail to close, the cylinders will lose compression causing the engine to misfire and lose power . In some worse situation Pistons can also hit the valves
Sold for over three years with zero complaints. They are direct fittment and require no machining.Tested at over 4 bars of boost pressure (+40%)
