Here is an antique needlepoint or crewelwork picture of The Last Supper in a walnut frame.
Made by Katie Ballman of St. James School in 1870.
The frame measures 30" by 25".
The inside of the matting measures 20" by 14 1/2".
NOTE: There are some small spots of wear or thread tearing/loss, such as above James minor, on Andrew's shoulder and stomach, below Peter's chin, on Jesus right chest/shoulder, a bit on Philip here and there, on Thaddeus shoulder/chest and on the bottom left and right corners. The spots don't detract much at all from the overall beauty of the piece though. There is some scratching on the frame.
