These rigs are Hand Tied in Queensland, Australia by experienced Shark fishermen and Fisho's who know what works, and more importantly what doesn't! so you can spend more time 'hanging-on' and less time wondering if your set up is right! Double crimped 200lb, 1.5m long (approx) Stainless Steel marine grade 316 wire make these rigs extremely tough yet flexible.The twisted "Bite Zone" (Approx 400mm) at the business end give you the best possible chance of landing that fish of a lifetime.
The castable 1.5m (Approx) trace makes this a great rig for both land based and offshore boat fishing for larger sharks and other toothey critters.
We use this rig when we are fishing from the beach and targeting large sharks. We kayak out the bait past the surf, drop it, paddle back like hell ! and let the self hooking circle hook do its thing. The 1.5m long trace helps protect the main line as the shark is brought through the breaking surf without being too long to hamper casting if your too scared to kayak out in shark infested waters! (like me, I send Mikey out!)
This rig is perfect for larger shark, barracuda, game fish and other toothey critters.
