MOFO Type S subwoofers are refined and increase efficiency dramatically! MOFO Type S subs use a composite sandwich cone with a polypropylene surface for durability and Spruce pulp backing for smooth low bass. Like the original MOFOs, the new models still use an aluminum dust cap that couples to the voice coil former and extends over the cone. Why? The fins brace the cone and eliminate cone flex during high excursion. And since they are aluminum and couple to the voice coil, they act as a heatsink or heat extractor. Using the latest materials, the new MOFO subs yield superior performance. Cast aluminum baskets? Of course! Increased bottom octave output? You Bet! Louder than the original design? Duh!!

Enclosure Dimensions

Included in this manual are a number of different enclosure suggestions. These are by no means the only enclosures to use, but they provide a starting point to determine the correct enclosure for your needs many factors must be addressed (amount of power, vehicle, placement, crossovers, etc) Therefore, as al-ways, Power Acoustik recommends that your subwoofer be installed by an authorized Power Acoustik dealer.

Enclosure Construction

All enclosures should be made of .75” (3/4”) material only. When possible, make the baffle 1.5” (1 ½) thick and add .75” (3/4”) to the depth of the enclosure to compensate. All volumes INCLUDE vent/port and subwoofer displacements. DO NOT change the volume unless you plan on adding a substantial amount of bracing. For added performance, applying a coat of fiberglass resin to the interior walls will greatly improve sealing the enclosure. Adding a thin layer of poly-fill will improve response by smoothing out reflections within the enclosure.

Warranty Repair/Exchange Period: 1 YEAR

If your item is defective or you want to return it for any reason within the first 30 days of when it was delivered to you; you have the following options:

• We will send you a pre-paid shipping label to replace the item for a brand new one.
• We will send you a pre-paid shipping label to exchange the item for another item of your choice. If the item you chose is more or less money we will work out the price difference with you.
• If you are returning a working item in used condition for a refund there will be a 20% used item fee deducted from your refund. All replacements and exchanges are free.

Replacement/Processing Time:

Your replacement or refund will process within 3-5 business days of when we receive the item.

Please note items with physical damage un-related to shipping are not covered under warranty. Registered software cannot be returned.

You MUST notify us within 48 hours if you receive an item that was damaged during shipping.

Process for returning items

Please email us with your eBay user ID, Item code / model #, Condition of the item, and the reason for your return. Please also indicate whether you would like a replacement, an exchange, or a refund. We will supply you with a reference number (RMA #) to put on the package which will ensure quick processing of your return. All returns require a RMA# to be returned back to our facility.
