  • Shipping: FREE domestic shipping.   We DO ship Internationally but we do NOT insure International orders unless buyer specifically requests this and we are able to provide an insurance estimate.  If an international shipping charge is much more than the actual shipping cost, we will refund the excess so what YOU pay for shipping/insurance is very close to, if not exactly, the ACTUAL shipping costs! This is important for foreign buyers to know as most of our foreign shipping charges are estimates.  We do not falsify information on the Customs Form, such as a price other than what the actual purchase price is, so please do not request us to do so. We ship several times a week and your prompt payment will hasten the turn-around time.

A beautiful looking antique jar.  The color is what separates this jar from all the rest, as most all of these little cosmetic or ointment jars are white milk glass.   This one is a rich POWDER or ROBIN EGG blue color, very unique.  We've had just a few of these over the years and the tin lids are about impossible to find for them as the originals are always rusted or corroded beyond function, and it is an unusual thread size so it is next to impossible to find a lid, old or new, that even fits this jar.  The lid on this one is an old tin lid but it is NOT original to the jar.  Yet it screws on just fine, seals the jar, and makes it complete.   A hard jar to find with lid and a super ornate jar to own, it can still be used to keep safety pins in on a counter or a bedside table, check it out!
