Pro Tip

Remember to reset your projector lamp hour counter after installing your lamp. Otherwise, the projector lamp light will remain on and in some cases the projector lamp will not even turn on! For instructions on how to do this please review your projector users guide.

What is a Genuine Original OEM lamp anyway?

Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) projector lamps are high quality lamps made by the manufacturer of your projector.

Almost everyone on eBay is selling lower quality Chinese knock off lamps.

Be cautious of others selling lamps that are labeled as COMPATIBLE or OEM EQUIVALENT or PROJECTOR LAMP MODULE FOR or THIS REPLACEMENT LAMP IS MANUFACTURED TO FIT...Notice no manufacturers name is mentioned.

Also beware of eBay titles with no obvious lamp manufacturer. Such lamps are all third party after market substitutes that are not designed to the exact specifications of your projector and will not be as bright nor last as long as a GENUINE ORIGINAL OEM lamp.

Some sellers are using deceptive listing methods to hide the fact that they are selling non OEM lamps.

If there is any doubt, ask the seller if the advertised lamp is a GENUINE ORIGINAL OEM lamp.
