Vintage swivel or flip ring, beautifully crafted from rich eighteen carat yellow gold, this is a substantial ring, weighing in at 12.5 grams.  Set with a green intaglio on one side, the other is styled after the god Apollo in a coin from Ancient Greece (see final photo).  The quality of this ring is exceptional, beautifully finished with the kind of detailing found in high end

jewels pieces, and I especially like the braided detailing surround.  

A very classy ring, and it is very comfortable to wear - this is especially important in a larger ring, it must be comfortable to wear or else you just won' t wear it.

Each side flips over easily, allowing for the wearer to have twice the options.  One side is the intaglio (vitreous paste, perhaps?) which shows beautifully and is safely mounted in a countersunk style that protects the intaglio from harm.  Ring is a size 6 1/2 and could be re-sized to make for a perfect fit.
