Pen-y-ghent is the smallest of the Yorkshire Three Peaks at 694m (2,277 feet), its name may mean 'Hill on the border' or 'Hill of the Border country' (Celtic) or 'Hill of the winds'(Welsh). Pen-y-ghent is one of the famous Three Peaks of Yorkshire and, together with Ingleborough, is probably the most recognisable fell in the Dales. Often spelt 'Penyghent', Pen-y-ghent is a rare example of the survival of a pre-Anglo-Saxon name for a Pennine summit.

 We have for sale, an image of Pen-y-Ghent Mountain which is stuck onto a wood panel that can be hung from a wall. The size is approximately 13” x 6”.

The product has been sanded, waxed and painted to a high finish.
